Our Background

Studying glass since 2004, Dan Alexander has a unique sense of design, color, and craftsmanship. His wide range of skills and work ethic put him at the top tier of artisans working today.

After graduating form Kent State University with a Bachelors of Fine Arts, Dan held a team leader position at the Corning Museum of Glass for 6 years and spent time working with in Murano Italy. He has also worked with a number of internationally known artists and designers pushing the handmade process to its limit.

He knew he had a range of skills that could be applied to many aspects of the glass art field. Starting AEG Design was to share his passion for glass with the world. "My goal is to create a high quality product that is a true piece of art. We hold ourselves to the highest standards and want our work to bring joy for centuries to come".
